Features

From the first booking to the last drop-off

Door Ferry replaces the phone calls, the texts and the diary with one booking system your customers use themselves.

  • Your own booking site

Your name, logo and colours on your own domain. Area pages and fast, search-friendly pages come with it.

  • Postcode checker

Customers see straight away if you cover them. Not yet? They can leave their email and hear when you do.

  • Book in a few taps

Pick a service, a collection slot and a return slot on a phone. The earliest return is worked out for them.

  • Repeats that run themselves

Weekly or fortnightly collections, with a reminder two days before and a one-click “Skip this one”.

  • No more overbooked vans

Each slot has a limit and tomorrow closes at your cut-off. The last place can’t be booked twice.

  • Tomorrow at a glance

A run sheet for the driver, a work queue for the team and a dashboard with tomorrow’s numbers.

Coverage

Customers know straight away if you collect from them

Set your areas by postcode district, sector or single postcode. Each area can have its own slots and its own page.

  • A postcode checker on your home page
  • “Tell me when you cover my area” for everyone else
  • They are emailed when you add their area

Repeat collections

Regulars book once and skip when they’re away

A weekly or fortnightly collection keeps the same slot for as long as the customer wants. Two days before each one, they get a reminder.

  • “Skip this one” in the email, no login needed
  • Regulars get their slots before one-off bookings can
  • If you close a day, they are offered the next free slots

Running the day

The driver knows every stop, the team knows what’s due

The run sheet lists collections and returns by slot, then postcode, with how to get in and how to get in touch. The work queue puts what’s due today first.

  • On a phone, with one tap at each door
  • Or printed on A4
  • Each customer’s preferences on every job

How it works

There and back in three steps

  1. 1

    The customer books

They check their postcode, pick a collection slot and a return slot, and choose one-off, weekly or fortnightly.

  2. 2

    You collect

The driver works from tomorrow’s run sheet, with access notes, and taps Collected at the door.

  3. 3

    You bring it back

Your team works from the queue of what’s due first, and the driver drops it back in the slot the customer chose.
